Code’slegacyofdualopcalelds–whilemostdeviceshaveasingleeldenhancedforaspecicapplicaon,Code’sCR8000

hasbothahighdensityeldforreadingthesmallestofbarcodes,andawideangleeldforreadingoversizedbarcodesgiving

youtworeadersinone.

TheCR8000includesconnecvityforCode’sGlareReduconTechnology.Barcodesprintedonshinyorreecvesurfaceshave

typicallybeenproblemacforimagingbasedbarcodereaders.Codehasovercomethischallengewithapatentedprocessthat

signicantlyreducesthereeconsthusmakingthebarcodeseasilyidenable.Inaddion,Codehasdesignedinfunconality

toallowtheintegraonandcontrolofaddionalilluminaonblocksorelements.Applicaonsincludesdocumentscanning,

directpartsmarking,orotherapplicaonsthatrequireexpandinglighng.

Forintegraon,avarietyofmounngoponsareavailableincluding:tabs,blindthroughholes,andmounngbracketsforboth

thescanengineandthedecodeboard.TheCR8000drawssignicantlylesscurrentandgetsintoandoutofitslowpowerstate

fasterthananyotherimagerbasedscanengine.These2itemsarecricalwhenintegrangtheengineintoamobiledevice,

beerpowermanagementfromtheimagerequatestolongerbaerylifeformobiledevices.TheCR8000communicatesvia

RS232orUSBprotocolsandrunsCode’sJavaScripts.ASowareDeveloper’sKitandIntegraonManualcanbedownloaded,free
